In Europe, transportation accounts for 20% of CO2 emissions, with cars being the primary contributor. Cycling is a powerful way to reduce these emissions, yet many people hesitate to choose cycling as their primary mode of transport.
To encourage more people to cycle, it’s crucial to address the needs of both bike owners and casual cyclists. Bike owners often grapple with the fear of bicycle theft, which can be a significant deterrent. Meanwhile, casual cyclists require accessible and manageable bicycle sharing options—amenities that are typically limited to affluent communities in larger cities.
The market currently lacks a cohesive solution that supports both groups, making it difficult to promote cycling as a practical, everyday choice for all. And so, here we are!
